Mickler Beach Beach Access

In November 2019, our First Coast Chapter Actvists were alerted that Mickler Beach in St. Johns County had been closed to public access and was to remain closed for an unknown period of time (possibly 45-60 days) do that 13 homeowners could install geo-thermal tubes. Mickeler Beach is one of the most used public beaches in the county.  The closure would also impact native dunes and wildlife. 

On November 5th, First Coast activists rallied and were able to ensure the County Commissioners keep Mickler Beach open to the public!
